Traveling is expensive.  Some places are much more expensive than others but there are still some pretty cheap destinations out there if you want to go somewhere different and a little more out of the way than some conventional destinations.  In this article, I will list the places that have been voted time and time again as the cheapest destinations on Earth.

Traveling is a luxury that many people cannot afford and the ones who can afford it, break the bank every time they take a vacation.  If you are a traveler or know any travelers, you know that traveling can be costly.  Airfare, hotels, food, activities, rental cars and fees for pretty much everything.  No matter what, any kind of travel is going to cost you a pretty penny but there are many places that are far cheaper than some of those run-of-the-mill destinations that you may be used to.  As long as you don’t mind giving up some luxuries and you don’t mind traveling to more far-flung locations, these destinations are where your hard-earned buck will get you the most:

  • Asia

    • Vietnam

    • China

    • India

    • Laos

    • Cambodia

    • Thailand

    • Malaysia

  • Africa

  • Morocco

  • Egypt

  • Tunisia

  • Europe

  • Bulgaria(one of Europe’s cheapest destinations)

  • Poland

  • CzechRepublic

  • Croatia

  • Hawaii

  • Australia

  • New Zealand

Of course this is meant as just a guideline.  Different things can cause prices to fluctuate at different times.  These generally are the cheapest destinations but you may find deals for other destinations are usually quite pricey if you have the time and patience to search for these deals.  In order to maximize savings even to the cheapest destinations, you would need to also search for the lowest airfares.  The more flexible you are with your schedule and the less fussy you are about where you sit on the plane, the more you will save.  This list may change a bit with the changing world economy, so your best bet is to always do a lot of research before you book and before you go.
