How to Get Perfect Smokey Eyes

Apply Powder Concealer

All around your eyes, up to just under your brow and under your eyes to conceal any dark circles. Make sure you go all the way up to the bottom lash line. This will help prevent your smokey eye from running and smudging. Don’t forget to blend well.

Apply Eyeliner…

First on the inside rim of your eyes, both top and bottom. Then on your top lash draw a thin line right above the lash line. This should be thinnest at the inside corner of your eye then get gradually thicker and should end just a bit past the outside corner of your eye. Dont worry about being too perfect as we are going to smudge. Lastly, draw a very thin line under the bottom lash line. Again, we will smudge.

Smudge to Perfection…

Take your Smudge Stick (this can be just the corner of a foam make up pad just make sure it has a defined corner) and smudge the bottom lash line first, from the inside out (this keeps the bottom line thinner and neater). Only smudge until it looks slightly soft. Next smudge the upper lash line. Again from the inside out.

Apply White Eyeshadow

Right under the arch in your eyebrow but dont go below the crease in your eyelid. Dont go too thick either. The point of this is to brighten up your eye. Next apply a little bit of white eyeshadow to the inside corner of your eye. This will work to make your eyes look bigger and more open.

Apply Grey/Silver Eyeshadow…

All over your eyelid. Careful not to exted beyoned the outer corner of your eye.

Apply Black Eyeshadow…

Starting at the outer corner of your eye, work the black eyeshadow into the crease stopping in the middle of your eye under the arch of your eyebrow. Use your Smudge Stick or foam make up pad to gently smudge the black eyeshadow downwards toward the lash line. This should be darkest toward the outer corner of your eye gradually lightening as you get closer to the inner corner of your eye. If it is
Apply Mascara…

Apply black mascara to both the upper and lower lashes making it a little thicker on the outside lashes.
