Cristiano Ronaldo Scores a Place at Madame Tussauds

Cristiano Ronaldo is already part of the celebrities depicted in wax at Madame Tussauds. He is the latest international soccer player to be added to the gallery that already includes England’s Steven Gerrard, David Beckham and Soccer legend Pele. The figure took about four months to create and costed about £150,000.

The images I found in Melty, where there are other ones, show a truly amazing representation of the player. The only thing I found strange is that he is represented with a too serious face because he is usually smiling when caught by cameras. Indeed, these images could be photographs of himself! It’s perfect! I am not a football/soccer fan, but I sympathize with the boy. He remains a simple person, friendly, humble and with a good heart as far as I know. I do not agree with the huge salaries of soccer players with him above all, which I can only describe as immoral, but the truth is that they personally are not guilty, and I think Cristiano deserves to have reach the top of a career. It’s a nice homage in the beginning of the FIFA World Cup in South Africa, and I hope Portugal can do a good job even without Nani, one of the best Portuguese players that got injured, unfortunately!

“We’re celebrating World Cup 2010 with the inclusion of one of the games most talented and talked about soccer stars – the one and only Cristiano Ronaldo.”
