Punta Cana is a beautiful region situated in the easternmost tip of Dominican Republic. The total area of the region is around 420, 000 square m. and it is well known for its eye catchy sandy white beaches, resorts and moderate weather condition. The proximity of Punta Cana to various well known resort areas like Uvero Alto, Bavaro etc make the city of the most beautiful Caribbean vacation destination.

The Resorts are found lush, tropical with palm trees, lagoons, and foliage along with ducks, parrots and peacocks which adds up the beauty of the resorts of Punta Cana. Many resorts are found to be large and looks more like individual cities, hence you may need to walk a lot while travelling and this would also brings you great pleasure. You can enjoy a lot in Punta Cana through windsailing, fine dining, spas, golf, scuba, fishing, yachting, kid’s fun programs and more.

Punta Cana has a tropical climate with mild windy, shallow and moderate temperatures. The average temperature of Punta Cana is fairly constant and is around 26 degree Celsius. The summer season falls between April to October which have day temperatures up to 36 degree Celsius. Due to flat landscape, the region experience very little rainfall.

There are many beautiful sightseeing and tourists destinations available in Punta Cana. The first and foremost top sightseeing in the region is city “Santo Domingo” which is the site of world heritage representing the European settlement of the western hemisphere. This sit is registered an recognised by UNESCO and is the first cathedral of Americas.

The next most popular destination is “Altos de Chavon” which is the modern day artist village. You can have a good time over there with the spectacular hillside cliff overlooking the beautiful Chavon River. Some other sites include Bavaro Runners, Saona Island, Manati Park etc.
