It’s that time of year again when we all get to pay our dues to be in the best club in the world, the United States of America. The earlier you get started filing your taxes the less stressful it will be so this article will help you get the forms you need so you can begin.

If you are an old school type of tax payer you can just stop by your local post office or library to get your tax forms. These locations have been the traditional one stop shop for tax filing documents, but they can run out fairly quickly so in this case the early bird really does get the worm.

For all of you tech savvy and hip tax payers, you can use the internet and your printer to download tax forms directly from the Internal Revenue Service. Go to http://www.irs.gov/ and you will find everything you could ever need that is Federal tax related.

And for you super do it yourself types, you can purchase tax preparation software such as H&R Block Tax Cut, Turbo Tax, Tax Act or Tax Brain. All the forms you will need will be included in the software or available for download from the software vendor.

And finally, for everyone else you can just go to a tax preparer such as H&R Block, Jackson Hewitt or Liberty Tax and they will take care of everything for you for a fee.

I hope you start early and try not to stress out. Just try to remember that it is a small price to pay to live in the greatest country in the world. Good luck!
