Pineapple cake

Pineapples are very tasty and they are very suitable for preparing a wonderful cake with them. This recipe is easy for preparation. It serves 10 people. The time for preparation is about an hour.


¼ cup butter

½ cup sugar (brown sugar is better)

6-7 slices pineapple (they could be from a can)

Maraschino cherries

1 package white or yellow cake mix for a one-layer cake

Whipped cream

Method of preparation:

You have to melt the butter, sugar and 2 table spoons pineapple syrup in a sauce pan. Remove from heat and pour into a cake pan and arrange pineapples and cherries in mixture. Prepare as directed on cake package. Pour over the mixture in the cake pan. Bake in preheated oven of 350 degrees for 40-50 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes. Invert on serving plate. Allow 5 minutes before removing pan. Serve warm with whipped cream and coffee. Enjoy!
