This recipe serves 5-6 people.It takes only about 40 minutes for preparation and is useful for different occasions. I like the fresh ingredients like spinach and nettle. You can mix them if you prefer.
1 kg spinach or nettle (or 500 gr spinach and 500 gr nettle)
300-350 gr cheese
½ cup of oil (about 150 gr)
2 cups of flour (about 250 gr each)
1 tea spoon baking powder
Salt to taste
Method of preparation:
You have to clean and wash the spinach or the nettle, then cut it finely and press it with arms. In a bowl beat the eggs, then add the oil, after that the cheese, the flour and the baking powder. Mix well with the spinach. Stir well with a table spoon and pour into a baking pan with sprinkled flour. Bake the pastry into a warm oven and serve it warm.
You can serve this delicious pastry with bier in the late afternoon or for breakfast with ayran. What is this?! It is a drink prepared from yoghurt, water and some salt. For instance: for 1 person 2 table spoons yoghurt, 200 gr water and a pinch of salt. Mix these three ingredients in a glass. Cheers! Enjoy the pastry!
