World’s biggest cheesecake baked in Mexico City

The Guiness Book updated its record collection with a newsbie: the world’s largest cheesecake. It happened in Mexico City, where chef Miguel Angel Quezada and his 55 cooks team managed to bake a 2 ton cheesecake, topped with strawberries.

The record, a premiere for Guiness Book, was achieved ar the term of 60 hours of hard work.

If you like to try this at home, you must use the following ingredients: nearly a ton of cheese, the same anmount of yogurt, 350 kilograms of pastry, 250 kilograms of sugar and 150 kilograms of butter.

The event, wich took place on Sunday, was sponsored by Kraft Foods.

Although, the giant cheesecake didn’t last too much, as the organizers gave out 20,000 slices around Mexico City.
