Christopher’s Italian Restaurant In Houston, Texas: A Review

Christopher’s Italian Restaurant is located on the outskirt of Houston in Atascocita, which is north of the city near the Humble and the restaurant has been opened since 2006, and it immediately had success. People from the neighborhood flocked to it and they boasted about the great pizza quality and the exceptional taste of their entrées as well.

The restaurant is located at5324 Atascocita Rd and it is open for lunch every day from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and for dinner the hours of operations are from Sunday through Thursday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.

The restaurant is very homey and it is not upscale but it gives the customers a feeling of being at your own home even though it can get a little loud if it is crowded and they serve Italian American food. For their appetizers you can go with the meatball muncharelli which are meatballs with meat sauce and melted mozzarella for $7.49, or the fried zucchini which come with a ranch sauce for $5.99 but my favorite (as well as many customers) is the dipping sauces for your bread or breadsticks which include a meat sauce, marinara, garlic butter, Alfredo sauce, olive oil and marinara cream sauce for $1.80 each.

The customers really like Christopher’s pizza mainly because you can actually taste the fresh ingredients which they are made of. So for the pizzas you can try one of their gourmet ones such as the Mustang which has meatballs, onions and jalapenos, or the spinotta which includes pepperoni, garlic, spinach, zucchini, squash, ricotta cheese and some spices and if you are undecided you can order the split pizza which has half ingredients on one side and the others on the other half of the pie.

But do not overlook their main entrées where you can order the Portobello mushroom ravioli which have a Marsala wine sauce for $12.99 or the chicken parmesan for $11.99, or even the tortellini in an Alfredo sauce for $10.99. And if you prefer seafood go with the seafood Italiano where you can order the shrimp, redfish or salmon which will come pan cooked with butter, parmesan and cracked pepper for $14.99 or the simple grilled fish which is sautéed and comes served with squash, zucchini, mushrooms and tomatoes for $15.99.
