Bible Verses about Overcoming Sin and Temptation

What does the Bible say about overcoming temptations? The Bible reveals that we must surrender our lives to God and live as new creations. God wants us to live in freedom from sin and temptation. It is not enough to know Bible verses about temptation we must meditate and trust in God’s promises when we face temptation. Our only hope for freedom from sin and temptation is to trust Jesus. If you sinned against God, confess the things that go against his will for your life. Admit to God that you can’t conquer it on your own. Lay your sins before God and ask Him for forgiveness. Repent, turn away from sinful habits, accept his grace and learn to live in obedience. The best thing to do is to find someone who is willing to help you. Find an accountability partner or mentor.

Psalm 119:9-10

Matthew 4:1-3
