Just prepare your skillet or frying pan and you are good to go.
3 pounds sirloin steak, cut 1/2 inch thick
4 tablespoons butter
3 cups peeled, cubed potatoes
4 tablespoons olive oil
1 and 1/2 cups chopped onions
1 and 1/2 cups tomatoes
2 teaspoons salt
1/2 teaspoon ground dried chili peppers
2 tablespoons wine vinegar
1-8 ounce can green peas , drained
Cut the steak into narrow strips. Melt the butter in a skillet or frying pan. Saute the potatoes until browned. Remove.Heat the oil in the skillet, cook the steak in it over high heat for about 3 minutes longer, shaking the pan frequently. Remove steak. In the oil remaining in the skillet, saute the onions for about 5 minutes. Mix in the tomatoes, salt, and chili peppers, cook over low heat for about 10 minutes mixing occasionally. Taste for serving. You can also serve this with hot rice.
