Creole Fish Recipe

Things You’ll Need:

  • 3/4 lb white fish
  • 1/2 of one small onion
  • 1/2 of one green pepper
  • 8 oz tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • salt and pepper

Step1 Thaw the fish first if it is frozen. Rinse the fish and pat dry. Preheat oven to 350 F.

Step2 Place the fish in a 9x9x2 baking pan (or whatever)sprayed with cooking spray or lined with foil. Chop onion and green pepper as fine as possible and place in small bowl. Add  tomato sauce, chili powder, salt and pepper to the bowl with the onion and pepper.

Step3 Pour pepper mixture over fish.

Step4 Cover the pan with foil and bake until the fish is no longer transparent and flakes easily. Time will vary depending on the thickness of the fish. Mine took about 20 minutes.
