Miniseries that told the stories about US soldiers during World War II in Pacific. War at Pacific itself had been started by Japan military invasion to US Navy Headquarter in Pearl Harbor on 8 December 1941. That attack also mark starting of involvement of US in action in World War II. After the losses of Japan in battle of Midway, US start to design struggling return its regions in Pacific which is [previous to be taken over by Japan Forces. US in retaking its region in Pacific by using tactics “Leap Frog”, the meaning is, take the islands in the region one by one from Japan. War in the Pacific that happened was very awful, and takes a toll of which many from both parties. War in Pacific itself in this time is more knowledgeable with the title Pacific Theatre.
Stories regarding of US soldier in war, especially in region which was at all far different from its state and the fury of power of weapons, and also obstinacy of Army of Dai Nippon in maintaining its region until the last breath of recorded well in this film.
In this miniserie which is divided by 10 episodes, stared by Linda Cropper, Joe Russell, Eamon Farren, Marian Frizelle, Kate Bell, Yosi Ando, etc. Directors are Jeremy Podeswa, Carl Franklin, David Nutter Timothy Van and of Patten. Produced by HBO, and start to release on 14 March 2010.
The Pacific is being spearheaded by Bruce McKenna (co-executive producer), who was one of the main writers on Band of Brothers. Hugh Ambrose, the son of Band of Brothers author Stephen Ambrose, will serve as a project consultant.
