How to Stop Feeling Overextended

1While you are at work pick a few things that you plan on acomplishing that evening when you get home from work. Only a few.

If cleaning is on your agenda. Break it up. For example if you need to clean the bathrooms, do laundry, and dust. Plan on only doing one of those things. Or throw a load of laundry in while you are cleaning the bathrooms and throw it in the dryer after. You dont have to do all of your laundry in one day.

If you have to make dinner, make dinner and clean the kitchen. Leave some of the other household chores for another day.

Those are just examples. There is always so much to do. Make a list and stick to it. Just keep writing things down as you realize you need to do them and pick just a few things on that list to make sure you do them.

Set a time, say 8pm when you stop doing everything and just relax. Make sure you make some time for yourself or you will burn yourself out and more then likely not be in the best of moods! Also pick a day you have off to not do anything but hang out with your family.
