Things You’ll Need:
- Colored paper in three different colors
- A Nice Box
- Writing utensil
- Your significant other
Gather your sheets of paper, the actual colors you chose are entirely up to you, and cut them into strips. The strips need to be big enough to write just a sentence or so and each color will become it’s own category. My categories (and colors) are just examples, you and your partner are to decide what each one may be for.
First example, all the (blue) strips may be places you have never been to at all or just never been to together like museums, a new resturants, book stores, a stand up comedy joint, bowling alley, a poetry slam.
All the (yellow) strips may be something you have never tried together – had a picnic, flew a kite, made homemade ice cream, went ice skating, taken artistic photos of the city you live in (frame your work in your home), signed up for a (cooking, art) class, sid some volunteer or charity work.
All the (pink) strips may be romantic or sexual – read a great love story aloud, rent a room for the night, few hours or even weekend in a fancy hotel, take a shower together and wash each others hair, give each other a full body massage, meet again (combine with a blue strip) go to said destination and pretend you’re meeting each other for the first time.
There are so many ways you may divide your activites. Several other examples: use green slips to indicate the activities written on the slip cost money or are for splurges Have a few of those sprinkled in for whenever the urge, or opportunity, comes in which you and your partner are able to something you have been thinking about for awhile, like a boat cruise. Or you can divide them up by season, summer activities on yellow strips, fall activites on orange slips etc.
Okay, now what do you do with all of these strips of paper? Once all of the strips are complete put them in a nice keepsake box. When you are stuck on what to do, or feel like being suprise, pick out a strip and since they are all color coded they may match the mood your in. Whichever you chose, you MUST do what it says!
