How to look good and spend less money
We can’t all afford the top of the range make up that the A list Hollywood stars have. Below are some tips that will help you look good for less.
Whilst lengthening mascaras are good, they are also more expensive. Curl you eyelashes and dust them with translucent face powder, then apply mascara, this will help them look much longer.
Wrap your hair in a towel for about 1 minute before you apply conditioner, this will stop the conditioner from being diluted by the excess water in your hair. This makes the conditioner last much longer as you use less and makes the effect much more intensive.
Don’t use too much shampoo; it’s the foaming action that cleanses the hair, use a small amount and massage well.
A cheap bottle of olive oil can be used as a moisturiser, cuticle cream, and lip balm.
You can use your lip liner to fill in your lips and line them.
Instead of using store bought facemasks, there are loads of ingredients in your cupboard that can be used. These include: Oatmeal, baking soda, banana, cucumber and many more.
Use your eye shadow as eyeliner; dip a damp brush or cotton bud (Q tip) into the shadow and blend along the lash line.
Dust talcum powder onto the roots of your hair, rub gently and then brush out. This will save time and save shampoo!
Two tablespoons of honey and sugar make an excellent natural scrub for the hands. It helps to remove dead skin and make the hands and nails look much brighter.
Turn bottles upside down to get the last bit out, you can even cut the top off if necessary.
Instead of buying a range of expensive long lasting lipsticks, buy some store brand or general cheap ones and cover them with a lip sealant.
