Killen Steakhouse is located in the heart of Pearland which is a neighborhood not too far away from downtown Houston mainly south of it and it is one of the best steakhouse restaurants in Pearland. The building outside may make you wonder what this is all about because it is rough looking but once inside, the atmosphere and décor is one of an upscale restaurant.

Killeen Steakhouse is located at 2804 South Main and the hours of operations are Monday through Thursday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. and it remains closed on Sunday.

As a steakhouse, Killeen has an extensive wine list that you can choose from like the Riesling Fess Parker for $9 a glass, or the Pinot Grigio from Friuli in Italy for $8, or the South Australian Chardonnay for $7 or even the Argentinean Merlot Dona Paula for $8. But you can also order half bottles (which is great for two people) such as the Patz and Hall Pinot Noir from Sonoma for $39, or the Oakville Plumjack Cabernet for $90 (if you really want to impress your date) or the Napa Merlot for $34.

As far as their appetizer you can order their famous and customer’s favorite jumbo lump crab cake which comes with lemon butter and tomato sauce, or the fried asparagus which are lightly breaded and topped with crab meat for $12 or the delicious bacon wrapped scallops for $18, and if you prefer soup then you can order the French onion soup for $5.

As their main forte plates which are the steaks you can choose from an array of cuts such as the wet aged beef like the six ounce center cut filet for $22, or the 24 ounce T-bone for $38, or the Texas Akaushi Kobe beef like the 16 ounce rib eye or the New York strip for $85, and even though the prices are a little high, the meat will fill you up and you will feel satisfied.

However if you are not a red meat eater you can choose to go with the chicken Francese which is parmesan breaded chicken breast with a mushroom artichoke cream for $17, or the sautéed snapper which comes with lump crab, tomatoes and a lemon wine sauce, or the spinach and crab plate which is pasta with lemon butter, spinach and crab, and sun dried tomatoes for $23 to name some of the other plates.

It is strongly recommended to call in advance to make reservations if you do not want to wait in line for a long time, so you can have a more relaxed evening with people without the nuisance of waiting, and Killen is the best steakhouse in Pearland.
