Pinwheels

Here’s what you’ll need:

  1. 1 cup powdered sugar, sifted
  2. 1-2 Tablespoons butter at room temperature
  3. 1 teaspoon vanilla
  4. 1-2 tablespoons milk
  5. 1/2 cup peanut butter (smooth is easier, but you may use chunky if you want)

Mix the sugar, the butter, and the vanilla in a medium mixing bowl. Add milk to make a soft dough. Roll out into an eight by eight square and spread this with peanut butter. Roll into log and wrap with wax paper. Refrigerate until firm,(about 30-45 minutes). Remove from refrigerator and slice into 1/4 inch thickness and serve.

I will not lie, I am NOT a big fan of peanut butter at all, but these are totally delicious and I recommend them as a sweet snack to anyone.

Creamy Caramel Dip

What you’ll need:

  1. 1/2 cup brown sugar

  2. 1/2 teaspoon caramel flavoring

  3. 1 teaspoon vanilla

  4. 8 ounces cream cheese at room temperature

Mix all ingredients together until creamy. Cup apple slices and serve with dip.

I consider it to be a cavity maker, but it is totally worth it. Please note that you can use other fruit besides apples, like perhaps pears, though I’m not a fan of pears so I can’t honestly tell you how it’ll taste. Also, if you do not have caramel flavoring which I didn’t have any last time I made it, you can melt down worthers candies, y’know those caramel flavored candies, about 4 of them will make about a 1/2 a teaspoon and melt them in the microwave with pam in the bowl you melt them in, WATCH THEM CAREFULLY, it only takes about 40 seconds in my 1300 watt microwave before they start to burn and it will make a mess and stink.
