Green bean soup with sausages is a delicious meal for everybody`s taste. This soup is not only delicious but also very good for cold winter days. Of course it could be eaten throughout the whole year. It depends on your choice. If you like it you can prepare the soup at every time in the year. The soup serves 5-6. The time for its preparation and cooking is about an hour and a half.


1 middle sized onion

3 middle sized potatoes

600 gr green bean

1 green paprika

1 carrot

1 table spoon tomato juice

200 gr sausages

1 table spoon oil

1 table spoon finely chopped dill

The juice from one lemon

Method of preparation:

First you have to peel the onion, wash it and cut it into 4 pieces. Then put it for about 10-15 minutes into a bowl full with water. Meanwhile clean and wash the green beans. After that clean and wash the carrot and the paprika. Chop the paprika finely and grate the carrot. Now, it is time to prepare the onion by chopping it very finely. In a pot put the onion and the oil for a minute or two, then pour some water and add the paprika. Three minutes later add the carrot and add some more water. Boil for 5 minutes. Then you have to add the green beans. Add some more water if necessary. During boiling you have to prepare the potatoes by peeling them, washing them and cutting them into small pieces. Put the potatoes into the pot. Continue cooking. Ten minutes before your dish is ready, you have to add the tomato juice. Your sausages should be cut into small pieces which you will put into the pot five minutes before the end of your cooking. At last sprinkle the finely chopped dill. So, your dish is ready to be served. You can use the lemon juice when you serve the dish. You can put a saucepan of lemon juice into each dish if you like lemon juice, of course. This dish could be served with toast bread and a bottle of white wine. Enjoy it!
