SSC Ultimate Aero

Developed by Shelby SuperCars, the SSC Ultimate Aero, a two-seater Berlinetta tops our list with a speed of 257 mph. It goes accelerates from 0-60 in just 2.7 seconds.

Theoretically, this supercar can reach speeds of 295 mph. In 2007, the SSC Ultimate Aero was tested by the Guinness Books of World Record and was proclaim as the world’s fastest car.

Bugati Veyron

Named after the famous French car racer Pierre Veyron, this full-size grand tourer is not just considered as one of the world’s fastest cars but also as one of the world’s most luxurious supercars.

It can reach a speed up to 253 mph, 4 miles short of the top spot. Top Gear host Jeremy Clarkson described the Bugatti Veyron as the “greatest piece of engineering ever.”

Saleen S7 Twin-Turbo

This wonderful two-door sports supercar prides itself of a 750 horsepower, aluminum V8 engine and a ferocious speed reaching up to 248 mph.

The interior of this supercar is made up of light aerodynamic features to add up speed and create a split-channel airflow throughout the car.

Koenigsegg CCX

This Swedish supercar was first unveiled in 2006 at a car show in Geneva. Since then, the Koenigsegg CCX is considered worldwide as the one of the world’s fastest cars.

It runs on a 4.7 L twin super charged V8 engine at a top speed of 245 mph.

McLaren F1


The McLaren F1 is powered by a 6.1 L BMW, 627 hp engine. It cost a lofty $970,000 in the current market.

In 1994 AutoCar stated that the McLaren F1 is the “finest driving machine yet built for public road.”
