Polycystic ovary syndrome can be treated with simple herbal remedies

   A condition in which multiple cysts develop from follicles on the ovaries in called Poly cystic Ovary Syndrome. This condition is a common hormonal disorder among women. There are many symptoms but the main symptoms are irregular periods or not having a period for weeks. PCOS seems to run in the family. Also if there is a family history of diabetes it is more likely to occur. Overweight women are at risk more than others. Since the symptoms vary so does the forms of treatment. To know if you have it or not you must have a blood test taken that checks hormone levels, glucose and thyroid levels and a ultrasound exam performed. Here are a few home herbal remedies that can help with these symptoms.   
   A well balanced diet  is important because iIf you are overweight , you should begin a weight loss program for yourself. You should begin a whole-food diet so you can replace vitamins and minerals that are usually deficient in those with PCOS.   Hormonal imbalances such as DHEA and estrogens together with progesterone with deficient levels causes poly cystic ovaries. There are a few herbs you can combine together to give you regular periods, elevates progesterone levels as well as stimulating the shedding of the uterine lining. The following herbal combination is suggested: chaste tree berry, Siberian ginseng root, squaw vine leaves, cramp bark and wild yarn root. Infuse 1 tbsp of this mixture along with 1 cup of water and stepped for about 10 minutes.   Saw Palmetto is a very common herb. The result of using Saw palmetto is that it decreases the symptoms of hyperandrogenism. Take 160 mg of this herbal treatment at least twice a day.
