How to know Jesus for your self is simple start off by praying to him daily making it a habit. Get in a habit of meditation and quit time with the lord. Always make time for him very important. Get in a habit of being silent once you a have prayed and talk to the lord. This will allow you to hear him better in your spirit. For example when you pray to the most high you want to hear what he is telling you to do in your spirit so therefore you have to practice being quit so you can hear him speak to you.

The more you read your bible and meditate on scriptures the more you become closer to him and the more you know what his voice sounds like when he is speaking to you God is always speaking to us we just have to quit our spirit. In Joshua 1:8, God says to meditate on His word day and night so we will obey it. The psalmist says “his delight is in the law of the Lord, and in His law he meditates day and night. When you read the word of God it will help you to know him better to really know who he is for your self by reading his word you will understand and know his will for your life how he wants you to live and much more.

Now that you have the main 2 steps you a getting closer to God. Next step will be to obey the lord at all times. Obedience is very important to God But he who looks carefully into the faultless law, the [law]of liberty, and is faithful to it and perseveres in looking into it, being not a heedless listener who forgets but an active doer [who obeys], he shall be blessed in his doing (his life of obedience). James 1: 25

Lastly here are few scriptures to start meditating on.

[Live] as children of obedience [to God]; do not conform yourselves to the evil desires [that governed you]in your former ignorance [when you did not know the requirements of the Gospel]. 1 Peter 1: 14

But he who looks carefully into the faultless law, the [law]of liberty, and is faithful to it and perseveres in looking into it, being not a heedless listener who forgets but an active doer [who obeys], he shall be blessed in his doing (his life of obedience). James 1: 25

Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse–The blessing if you obey the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you this day; And the curse if you will not obey the commandments of the Lord your God, but turn aside from the way which I command you this day to go after other gods, which you have not known.
