E-currencies are used by most HYIP’s as a way to transfer money in and out of programs. These currencies are relatively secure, instant and in most cases irreversible. To buy or sell e-currencies you will need to use a payment processor. There are dozens of websites that provide information on e-currencies and payment processors as well as ratings on HYIP’s. These sites provide information such as rate of return, payment frequency, length of time in existence, user ratings, and minimum and maximum investments. If you are interested in this type of investment, perform your own due diligence first.
Look up the details on the website owner including IP address, Internet Service Provider, and registered name and address. Make sure you feel comfortable with the information you find, especially the location, and the quality of the website. Watch for unprofessional designs, poor navigation, a standard template of frequently asked questions (FAQ’s), frequent downtime, and cheap scripts. Make a record of the Internet Service Provider (ISP) and IP address including any physical contact information. If the website and/or your investment disappears at least you will be able to file a complaint. Some known scammers continue their operations by simply changing their site and their name.
Spend some time on the internet doing your own research. There are numerous sites where you can find out information on the HYIP you are investigating. Of particular benefit are forums and discussion groups. Beware of testimonials found on the owner’s own website. Instead visit popular and trusted professional forums and do not depend on a single forum or group. There is an old expression, “If you fail to plan, you plan to fail.” In the HYIP arena this old adage is doubly true. Those high returns that are being promised may be yours, but only if you tread carefully and do your due diligence properly.
