If you’re a fashion designer, you can start your own line. It’s not hard. Many people start from their own basement and you can too. With fashion, it’s easier than any other business to start. You can start out slowly on Ebay or on the internet and then work your way up to a boutique or an international store.

You can do it from the comfort of your own home. It doesn’t take a lot if you know how to sew or how to put clothing together. You can build a factory in your garage literally. A lot of people have a factory in their garage. You can do it. You would need to copyright your brand. It’s not yours until you file a copyright for it. People can copy you and you can’t sue them unless you have your copyright paper. You will need to pay around $100-$200 to get a copyright license.

Once you have the copyright for it, you can begin to put labels on your clothing. You would need to order labels in order to start selling your clothing. It’s better marketing if you have your labels. You can make it and then sell it on Ebay or have your myspace store or facebook store. You can also have your own website. It’s not a good idea to have a site by yourself since you might not get a lot of traffic. You want to be on Ebay where there are customers already or Craigslist or Myspace or facebook. You can market your product after you have a lot of samples made out. You can advertise on youtube or just sell it and have people learn about your product.
