Captive Heart

previous chapter:  Ohlfgon’s Forge

A man hides in the shadows. Early morning and the sun still had hours before rising. He watches Anash the Dragon Keeper walk slowly down the dark hallway within the dragon lair. Just as Anash reaches the opening to the stables, they hear bare feet running up behind him. The man in the shadows holds his breath as he watches Avris the Dragon Dancer come down the hallway. He deeply hopes that her blue robe opens up. He can tell that she is wearing nothing underneath.

Anash knows it is the one he loves more than any other. He turns just in time for her to come into his arms. She takes hold of the dragon skins he wears and pulls herself against him. Their kiss is deep.

Anash suspects there is nothing on under that blue robe he gave her years ago. She presses her soft cheek against his as his hands grope her firm body. She is just slightly shorter than him. He is glad that she and her sister are taller than most women. It is comforting to him that he does not have to look down to see into their eyes. Her large breasts press against him and he wishes they were still together in bed with nothing to do the rest of the day. But it was time for him to leave.

“I love thee my Avris,” kissing her on her nose and then moving back so he can look into her eyes, “Tell me that ye love me.” He longed so to hear her say this. In all their years together she always found other things to say than, ‘I love you’.

She pulled herself against him again nuzzling into his neck and drawing in a deep breath through her nose taking in his aroma. Desiring his arms to tightly hold her. “I belong to thee,” then in a low whisper that she only wanted him to hear, “Ye have captured and enslaved my heart completely and forever.”

They kissed again while the man in the shadows glowered at them and whispered even softer so that no one could hear, “Soon, I will capture thee.”
