Nokia 5800 xpressmusic review

Finally I bought the phone I have been waiting to buy for the past 6 months Nokia 5800 xpressmusic , touch phones has been my passion and before using Nokia 5800 xpressmusic I was using a HTC P3400i which also is a touch phone.

The price was just too high when the phone was launched but it has reduced to about 250 dollars so I sold off my HTC touch and bought this very ergonomically designed and sexy looking Nokia 5800 xpressmusic. I have been using the phone for the past one month and I would like to share my experience with the phone.

Being a music phone Nokia 5800 xpressmusic gives a very high quality music experience, honestly no other phone I have ever used is even near to what my experience has been with Nokia 5800. The touch is very responsive and just a faint touch on the screen is enough to start up the program, so full credits for the good touch and music quality on the phone. The phone doesn’t have much of internal memory but it supports 8 GB of external memory which makes up for the insufficient internal memory.

Overall Nokia 5800 xpressmusic is a good phone as it is responsive and doesn’t hang like other Nokia phones( N-series phone to be precise) but I would like to highlight some features which the phone lacks and should have been there for it to be a Smartphone. Firstly the phone just has a notebook for writing out documents and I really miss my mobile office pack which my HTC phone had, this is one feature I would love seeing in the phone as I do plenty of writing on the go and notepad alone isn’t enough.
Secondly Nokia xpressmusic doesn’t provide the best of surfing experience, I bought the phone basically for the music and using internet but it has connection problems and the wi-fi feature also doesn’t seem to be very responsive.
Lastly I didn’t enjoy the camera quality of the phone, it is good in day light but though it has a xeon flash the picture quality is not so impressive indoors.

So these are some of the pros and cons of Nokia 5800 xpressmusic which I have highlighted above, hope it helps you in taking your decision .
