How do we know if something is correct or a lie? What does the bible teach us? Well, we know from Mathew 24 that there will be false Christs and false prophets in the end days. Are we in the end days?
Before this horrific oil spill a few months ago all people talked about was the severe storms, crazy weather, violence, corruption and how the world seems like it’s ready to explode. For years and years Christians have been warning people about the tribulation, Christ’s return and other biblical prophecies. Pastors and preachers on television, in churches, on the internet and even out in the streets have been preaching about the end days. Are the “end days” as it’s written in the bible upon us? What does it say in Mathew 24 about the signs that will precede the tribulation and how we will know that we are in the end days…
In Mathew 24 Jesus speaks about the times of the “end” to His apostles and they ask him “…what shall be the sign of thy coming and the end of the world?”
Mathew 1:4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man decieve you. 5. For many shall come in my name saying I am Christ and shall deceive many. 6. And you shall hear of wars and rumours of wars but see that you be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass but the end is not yet. 7. For nation shall rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom, and there shall be famines and pestilences and earthquakes in different places 8. All these are the beginning of sorrows. 9. Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted and shall kill you and you shall be hated of all nations for my names sake.
The little booklets called Amazing Facts do line up with biblical scripture…at all. So, since we know that Mathew 24 warns us of deception in the end days that we can assume these little booklets “Amazing Facts” are actually amazing lies or falsehoods. What do you think?
