Movie Review: Remember Me

A whole new and fresh romantic drama is coming the viewers’ way very soon with the release of Remember Me. It is an upcoming film directed by Allen Coulter based on a screenplay written by Will Fetters and Jenny Lumet. It is the story of a pair of star-crossed lovers who meet and fall in love while struggling to deal with family tragedies that threaten their relationship.

In this movie, Tyler Roth (Robert Pattinson), a “rebellious young man” in New York City has a strained relationship with his father (Pierce Brosnan) since his brother’s suicide. This tragedy has separated their family. He thinks that there is no one to look after him and that’s why he always feels alone. Tyler didn’t think anyone could possibly understand what he was going through. Tyler finds happiness after meeting Ally Craig (Emilie de Ravin) through “an unusual twist of fate”. She heals and inspires him which causes Tyler begins to fall for her. Love was the last thing on his mind which gradually changes his view towards life. Through their love, he begins to find happiness and meaning in his life. But the two will soon find their relationship threatened. Now, hidden secrets are revealed, and the circumstances that brought them together slowly threaten to move them apart.

So, it is a film full of intimacy, which leaves an unending impression on all its viewers. Finally, it is a charismatic story which imposes questions on you about your perception towards power of love, and bond. “Remember Me” is an good story about the power of love, the strength of family, and the importance of living passionately and treasuring every day of one’s life.
