The UFC Undisputed 2009 video game was wildly successful from its release date and beyond in terms of sales as it flew off store shelves.

The game was also voted Best Sports Game at the Spike Video Game Awards this past Saturday in addition to receiving good reviews from most video game Web sites despite being the first MMA/UFC video game in several years on its release

 date.

Now, the UFC and THQ are taking UFC Undisputed 2010 back to game consoles as the release date has been announced along with a trailer that is available on youtube and other sites for the game.

UFC Undisputed 2010 Trailer: Release Date Announced

The release date for the new UFC Undisputed 2010 video game for PSP, XBox 360, and Playstation 3 will be on May 25th, 2010. The game is expected to featuring much more nuanced mixed martial arts and UFC game play including a more intuitive and subtle submission game and also a more realistic and fluid dodging system among other features.

The UFC Undisputed 2010 trailer shown at the video game awards showed the game’s release date to be May 25 and also had a montage of UFC fighters asking that popular question “So you want to be a fighter?” and describing other various traits of top UFC combatants.

The trailer for the release date of UFC Undisputed 2010 also shows that street brawler and youtube legend Kimbo Slice, fresh off a win over Houston Alexander and a stint on THe Ultimate Fighter, will also be in the game this time around as one of several UFC fighters in UFC Undisputed 2010.

Other favorites like Frank Mir, Chuck Liddell, and Anderson Silva are also expected to be in UFC Undisputed 2010 on the release date along with Kimbo and other less-established guys.
