How to bake Salmon with almonds

Difficulty :Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • 3 pounds of Salmon
  • 3 tbs of butter
  • 1/2 cup of chopped onion
  • 1/2 ” of sliced mushrooms
  • 2 tbs of chopped parsley
  • 1/4 of cup olive oil
  • half container of heavy or light cream
  • 1/4 of cup white wine
  • 1/4 of cup of flour
  • 1/3 of cup of sliced or crushed toasted

Step 1

wash and clean the salmon, also take one more look for bones once finished, rub it in a little of olive oil salt and pepper

Step 2

Sauté’ in the butter the onions first, add the mushroom second and parsley all for a total of 9 -10 minutes and lay them on the bottom of a baking dish or aluminum foil if you like to use a grill.

Step 3

Usually salmon is in big pieces cut it if you need it and place it on top of the vegetables and baste with the white wine and 1/4 of the cream. bake from 18 to 22 minutes according to the thickness of the fish if using a grill a little more time about 5 more minutes.

Step 4

strain off a little of the sauce and thicken with beaten egg yolk, flour and the left ever cream make sure that the mixture is creamy not too thick, pour it on top of the fish and sprinkle with the toasted almonds let it bake for last 3-4 minutes and enjoy

Tips & Warnings

Salmon is one of the healthiest fish we can get and for that i would serve it with a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc any winery from New Zeland will be good
