Maple Walnut And Berry Smoothie

The basic recipe – gather these together for a mighty treat!

75g Walnuts
12 Boysenberries
splash of vanilla soy milk
maple syrup to taste
1/2 cup water

Blend and drink! Its that easy – I have one of these almost every day. Add banana for an even thicker mix, or more water to thin it out.

And now… Here is the SUPER version..

75g Walnuts
12 Boysenberries
splash of vanilla soy milk
maple syrup to taste
1 cup water
handful of sunflower seeds
1/2 handful almonds
Tbls Linseed (flaxseed)

Blend, and drink. You could also experiment with adding your own favorite berries and nuts. I vary the nuts and berries as variety is better for you and you are more likely to gain all the nescesary proteins and aminos
This is great training food or if you are having a highly active day, where you need more protein and energy. It’s healthy and easily digested making it better for the absorbsion of everything you need. Acrobats star of approval!

Banana and kiwifruit smoothie

Training superfood!

This smoothie is ideal just before a training session or a busy outing. Kiwifruit contain fast release energy which gives you an instant lift, whereas bananas have a slower release, giving you sustained energy throughout the day.

2 bananas
4 kiwifruit
1 cup water
1 apple

blend and drink!

Mango delight

This smoothie is so filling! Excellent at the end of the day as it is thick enough to be a full dessert.

2 mangos
1 vanilla soy yoghurt (I use soy life)
1 banana
1 cup water

Blend and drink (or eat with a spoon!)

Tropical Circus smoothie

a flipping good smoothie!

1 mango
1 banana
5 chunks pineapple
1 passionfruit
3 strawberries
dash of vanilla soy milk, or a tsp of vanilla protein powder
1 cup water

blend a drink, its great anytime!
