Zynga released the first game a player can play with their pet in Petville on December 11th, 2009. The new Petville mini game is called Bubble Pop! It appears playing games with your pet in Petville is a great way to earn coins for your Petville pet to spend in the store.
In Bubble Pop, your pet will blow bubbles out of a wand. Your goal is to pop those bubbles. You have to pop them before they float out of your game screen. You are given a target number of bubbles to pop to pass each level. At the end of each level, you’ll receive coins and your pet will be happy. Before you play, you’ll be told what your highest score to date it.
At first, it may seem like a boring game. But, as you advance in levels, it does become harder. The bubbles will float away quicker in the higher levels and it can become somewhat addicting as you try to beat your previous score.
Also, the higher the level you are, the more bubbles you’ll have to pop to pass the level. Also, the higher the level, the bigger the bubbles become. Now, it may seem easier to pop the bigger bubbles and you might be wondering why they don’t count towards your target when you pop them. The bigger bubbles don’t count towards your goal! Actually, the bigger bubbles will break up into smaller bubbles. Only the small bubbles count towards your target. So, you have to break up the bigger bubbles before getting to the smaller ones that count. When you pop a bubble that counts, a small group of colorful stars will appear where the bubble you just popped was.
To get a high score in Petville’s Bubble Pop, you have to be quick! After you beat each level, move your mouse close to your pet’s bubble wand. It’s easier to pop them all when your pet first blows the bubbles. So, start clicking like crazy when they are first released from the bubble wand. Once the bubbles start to disperse more, move your mouse towards the right side of your screen and pop from right to left.
Go for the small bubbles that are starting to move out of the game screen because those are the ones that count towards your target. If you pop a bigger bubble that is just about to float away, it might not count.
