God knows all things.God does see everything we do and every motive of our hearts. When people do sins it’s always in the dark. They sin in the dark trying to hide their faces thinking God wouldn’t know.
God’s “all knowing” nature didn’t apply to only David and Isaiah; it’s thought to apply to every Christian. The prophet Jeremiah wrote, “Before I shaped you in the womb, I knew all about you. Before you saw the light of day, I had holy plans for you: A prophet to the nations — that’s what I had in mind for you.(Jeremiah 1:5 )God examines the deepest thoughts of hearts and minds (Jeremiah 11:20).
God told Jonah to go to Nineveh to warn the people that unless they turned from their sins, they would be destroyed. But, Jonah didn’t want to do as he had been told, so he traveled in the opposite direction and tried to run away from God. It didn’t take long for Jonah to discover it was impossible. (Jonah 1:1-10)
