Savoury eggs

This unique recipe for savory eggs is easy for preparation. It does not last much time for preparing it. About an hour. It can serve 10 people and you can use it during different occasions as well as in every day use. I knew this recipe from a friend who works in a restaurant. Enjoy it!


10 eggs

6 tablespoons soya sauce

2 tablespoons olive oil

1cup of water

1 teaspoon mustard

spicy red pepper

salt to taste

For decoration:

leaves of green salad

red papper

green pepper

10 olives

green onion

Method of preparation:

Boil the eggs. After boiling they have to be hard boiled. Shell them. After that place them into a small sauce pan. Prepare the following mixture:some water,mustard,soya sauce and olive oil. Pour this mixture onto the eggs very carefully.  Be careful: the eggs should be under this liquid mixture. If the mixture is not enough you can add some more water. Cook them for 15-20 minutes. When they are golden brown, they are ready. Cut them into pieces,salt them and sprinkle some red chily pepper onto the eggs. You can serve by placing the eggs onto a big tray onto the leaves of green salad,decorated with stripes of red and green pepper,olive halves and green onion. You can make different figures”flowers,suns,hearts,stars,etc.” while decorating the savory eggs. This appetizer is suitable for hard drinks. But it also can serve white or red wine.
