I have read somewhere that  Pliny the Elder had tought that “the turnip is one of the most important vegetables of the day”. Why is it so?! Probably because the turnip is rich in Vitamin C,Vitamin B 6, Calcium, Manganese and Copper. Not many people use turnip in every day recipes although this vegetable is tasty and fresh. It is ideal for making diets and can substitute some ingredients in your salads.3 years ago I started using the turnip and since then many of my friends use it with pleasure, too. You can try the following recipes and decide if they are healthy and good for you.
