Some pineapple recipes

This wonderful fruit,the pineapple, is very healthy and suitable for making some diets. The fruit is often called the King of the tropical fruits. I want to offer some recipes that could be used in everyday menu or for special occasions.

Recipe 1       Salad of carrots and pineapple (serves 1;the preparation time is 10 minutes and 15 minutes for staying)

Ingredients:

250 gr carrots

180 gr pineapple (it could be fresh or from the can)

salt to taste

1/2 glas of lemon juice

2-3 spoons yogurt

Method of preparation:

Grate the carrots and cut the pineapple into small pieces. Stir these ingredinets and add the salt,the lemon juice,the jogurt and stir well.Leave to salad for 10-15 minutes before serving it.

Recipe 2:  Baked meat with pineapple and (pot)cheese (serves 4,preparation time-about an hour)

Ingredients:

1 can of pineapple

4 pieces of meat (preferrable turkey or chicken);each of them 150 gr

salt

pepper

5 spoons oil

150 gr (pot) cheese

Method of preparation:

Dry the pineapple. Leave the pineapple juice in a saucepan where very soon you will put the tapped meatwhich is spiced with salt and pepper. Put the saucepan into the fridge for an hour and a half. After that fry the meat into a frying pan. Put the pieces of meat into another pan for baking. On each piece of meat put some slices of the pineapple and sprinkle the grated (pot) cheese.Bake for 15 minutes.Use green salad for dressing.
