THE PAST…

The Usonian Inn, originally named the Rest Haven Motel, was the first Highway lodging between Madison and Lacrosse WI on US Hwy 14. Our Hotel was built in 1950, refurbished in 1992 and then under the latest management it had a DESIGNER MAKE OVER, done.

The Usonian style, as conceived by Frank Lloyd Wright, is “architecture for everyone”, combining readily available materials and straight forward construction in harmony with the natural settings. We are one of the very few, if not the only Usonian motels in the world.

Nestled in a park-like setting just blocks away from the downtown shops and restaurants, the Usonian (yoo-so-neee-an) Inn, is Spring Green’s first Talliesin inspired motel, built in an era when the wide highway could take you anywhere!

THE PRESENT…

In terms of the technology, the property was upgraded to Direct TV, with non-commercial movie package HBO, Cinemax, Showtime, FLIX, sport package and Game Lounge. Wireless high speed Internet is for everyone’s reach at no cost to our customers.WE will do our best to accommodate your needs in any way possible.

We are committed to achieving environmental, social and economic sustainability at all times by embracing the “Green” concept.
Alternative savings are abundant so, we adhere to start our contribution of saving the earth.

The DESIGNER MAKE OVER that took place in 2008 (phase I.) helped us to implement most and the greatest sustainable concepts that are suitable for our establishment.

And, THE FUTURE TO COME …
