Deciding on whether a puppy is right for you and your family is a big decision, as it directly affects you, your family and the puppy. There are many things that need to be considered before you bring a puppy into your home.

Puppies need a lot of attention during the house training process. Will there be someone who is able to be in the home with your new puppy? The puppy will have to be watched closely so that he/she does not soil carpets or chew your valuable possessions.

When making a decision of adding a puppy to your life, you should consider if you have the time to walk, feed, water, play with, groom, bathe and clean up after your puppy. These are just a few things that will require your attention, think carefully, before deciding if a puppy is right for you!

Adding a puppy to your home can become expensive. The puppy will need Vet visits, worming, flea control, vaccinations, a crate, food, toys and potty training pads. Not to mention, food. A puppy will eat a lot! This is just a few of the expenses that you should consider before deciding to bring a puppy into your home.

Your puppy will need ample space to run and play in order to grow and remain healthy. If you live in a small space, the puppy will need to be taken outside for frequent walks in good weather as well as bad in order to get this exercise.
