My Husband and I chose to live in a RV about four years ago, long before our economy went south. I have learned over those four years just how to live comfortably in a RV. Living comfortably in a RV is not that hard once you learn the basics. Within this article you will learn the steps that you should take in order to live in a RV with relative ease.
The first step to living comfortably in a RV is to limit your possessions to a minimum. If you don’t use it, you don’t need it. Rv’s have a very limited space and it takes very little to make that space cluttered and uncomfortable. There is no space on the walls for pictures and no space for collectables. There is very little space, even for your wardrobe!
Have a place for everything and keep everything in it’s place. That may be an old cliche but if you are going to live comfortably in a RV you must follow this rule.
RV’s can be a little drafty. Put a heavy plastic over all of your windows to keep the cold air out and the warm air inside. It is also helpful to have a small space heater placed close by on those extremely cold nights. An electric blanket is also a must have, for thse cold winter nights.
Living comfortably in a RV is also easier if you truly love the one/ones that live in the small space with you. Remember a small space means little privacy. Having a lot of patience and forgiveness with loved ones goes a long way toward a comfortable life in a RV.
