What is it with folk who continually tweet the same annoying nonsense about the next get rich scheme?
If you’ve been following my ramblings, then you’ll know that I’ve recently joined the twitter fraternity. And today I’ve been looking around for interesting tweeple (not my word) to follow and converse with and generally nosey in on what they’re up to. Such is the way on twitter of course.
It has got to be the most annoying thing to have followed someone’s tweets to then just find yourself looking at the same thing again and again for some pyramid style (or whatever) selling scheme that is supposed to make you (more likely them) (well probably not) rich in the next 5 minutes.
Say interesting things, be life rich!
Would it hurt them to just say a few things about life in general? To be honest and say, “You know this hard sell crap is not all it’s cracked up to be. I’ve been doing this for 4 months now, and only made a couple of hundred dollars (or pounds, whatever), and my really sweet partner is missing me cos all I do is sit at the computer pressing cmd v (or ctrl v if you really are sad enough to use windows still)”
Obviously you’d have to split that up a bit to get it into 140 chrs, but you get what I mean. Life is for living, yeah of course we all want to earn money, I do to; I just lost my job and don’t know where the next pay cheque is coming from; but get real and make friends. Don’t just keep asking people to give to you, give to them first and foremost and I’ve a feeling that you might find yourself a much richer person (mentally and perhaps financially).
So follow my new motto: Say interesting things, be life rich!
