Norfolk: This is another exciting city. Norfolk has a zoo that your children and adults will enjoy. Downtown does not have a shortage of quality hotels. Any hotel branch with reputable reputation is represented downtown Norfolk. There is Nauticus- a naval musuem and center. Visit the battleship at berth near Nauticas. Norfolk also offers a mall downtown,McArthur Mall. Excellent restaurants are available, Kincaid, Chilli’ s Cheese Factory, and all of the little food shops generally in a mall. You can also take ferry rides downtown and view the James River. The Spirit of Norfolk is available. This is a dinner yacht that cruises down the river while you eat your fabulous meal. Norfolk is home to one of the largest Naval Bases.
Williamsburg: Now if you love colonial History, you will absolutely love Williamsburg. Come and visit Jamestown, VA. Visit the President’s park, Colonial living and museums. Williamsburg is about 30 miles away from Norfolk. During the summer, Williamsburg is popular because of Bush Gardens- An Amusement Park. We also have the Great Wolf Lodge water park.
