Since the 1980’s, stories about a creature that sucks an animals blood have persisted. It is known as the Chupacabra, otherwise known as the goat sucker. The stories first started over in Puerto Rico many years back when animals began dying strange deaths. Since then, this creature has reached the status of becoming one of the most popular myths around.

This creature has been sighted all around South America, Mexico, and the United States. The usual victims of this creature are goats, sheep’s, dogs, chickens, and many other small animals. When these poor animals are found, they are said to have puncture wounds to the neck and have their blood completely sucked out of their bodies. So basically, The animals are killed just for their blood.

The characteristics of some sightings include a beast that flies, resembles an alien with very large eyes and people actually say i hops around on it’s back legs at great lengths and speeds. It is rumored to have gray skin covered with many coats of hair.

Believers in the study of cryptozoology will tell you that this creature does indeed exist and is somewhere out there. In my opinion, I think it’s not so hard to believe that something like that is amongst us. The world is too big to say we know every single kind of animal that walks this Earth. If a person says “there’s no possibility that it exists”, that person is practicing stubbornness. Anything is possible in a world that is full and mysterious.
