Things You’ll Need:
- Microwave oven
- Microwave safe dessert-size dish
- Vegetable oil; spray or liquid
- Whisk or fork
- Waxed paper
- Milk; optional
- Salt, pepper, other seasonings (optional)
Prepare the dessert dish:
Lightly spray or spread vegetable oil on the inside of a microwave-safe dessert dish.
Add eggs and other ingredients:
Break eggs into the prepared dessert dish. If desired, add milk, water, salt and pepper or other favorite seasonings or ingredients. Whisk until thoroughly mixed.
Cover the dish with a small piece of waxed-paper and place it into your microwave oven. Note: Microwave ovens vary with regard to their cooking power and time. Some practice might be necessary to get the perfect combination.
For moist scrambled eggs, cook at medium power for approximately 45 seconds. Check consistency and stir; re-heat as necessary at medium power.
For fluffier scrambled eggs , cook on high power for approximately 40 seconds. Check consistency and stir; re-heat as necessary.
When your microwaved scrambled eggs are done cooking, you can season to taste and eat directly from the dessert dish, or, if you prefer, you can easily slide the cooked eggs from the dessert dish to your plate; on top of a piece of toast, English muffin, or other favorite scrambled egg accompaniment.
