Read the Bible to understand God’s ways. God’s words, support, and love come through in the Bible and can help people, even those who do not have faith in God, to learn how he exists in our daily lives. The Bible is full of scriptures that offer piece of mind in our daily rituals and relationships. Just about anything in the Bible can be related to your own life if you pay attention to the goodness you read. For example, in the passage of Leviticus 19:17-19 (New International Version), God says, ‘Do not seek revenge or bear a grudge against one of your people, but love your neighbor as yourself. I am the LORD’. He explains that loving others as you love yourself is the way to be a good Christian. You can take this anyway you like, but ultimately, you can use it in your life to treat people as you would want to be treated and your life will be great, as will the life of others you encounter. Attend church on a weekly basis. God helps those who enter his home, the church, and pray with him. Many ministers, preachers, priests,…etc., will tell you this and many people who believe in God feel the same way. Not only are you serving God the best way possible by attending church and hearing his words, but you will also gain a sense of peace in your own life. Scriptures written in the Bible and heard at church services have a way of comparing things in our life to God’s words. It’s amazing how much you will learn about yourself, your life, and your relationships by listening to God’s words during church service. Many people go to church to find a way to increase their faith by letting God into their lives on a consistent basis. When you let God in and obtain faith by attending church, you will find that your life becomes better and more well rounded. You will also surround yourself with others who are well rounded and can help you keep your faith.
Talk to others who have faith in God. Surrounding yourself with people who wholly believe in God is a wonderful way to find faith in him as well. You don’t have to be a ‘born again Christian’ or become heavily obsessed with the Lord in order to live a good life. Having faith in God means believing that he is working to make your life better and is helping you to find a purpose that works best for you. Talking to others such as family, friends, or coworkers who have faith in God can help you to gain a sense of faith as well. Ask people you know to share stories about God, tell you what church services are like, or relay events in their life that became better because of their faith in God. You’ll be amazed at what you hear and how God’s love and their faith have affected all aspects of their life.
Pray to God often. Try to say prayers to God every night before going to bed as a way to find faith in that which you can’t see. God can hear everything you say, your concerns, your thoughts, and your fears. Talk to God on a consistent basis. Even if you have trouble believing in God, tell him this. God does not condemn or have any feelings of anger toward us. He loves us and wants us to have faith in him. He can help you to believe if you let him. Tell God that you have trouble believing in him and would like help doing so. You can ask God for anything and he will provide, although it won’t always be exactly as you wish, because he has a plan for us. But, God will provide you with faith if you ask him to. Saying prayers can be easy. Just talk to God as you would a friend. Tell him that you have doubts and need help with faith. He will listen and help you have faith.
