Things You’ll Need:
- For 4-6 people.
- 2tbs. of olive oil
- 3 oz. of smoked Salmon
- 1/2 onion
- 1 box of pasta Farfalle
- 2 oz. of vodka
- 3 oz. of Italian Pancetta
- 1/2 container of heavy cream.
In a large pan sauté the onion with 2 tbs. of olive oil on medium low heat. Make sure the onion is chopped in small pieces.
After the onion is ready, slice the salmon in small pieces. Add it to the pan and let it cook for about 3 minutes.
Now, cut the Italian pancetta in small pieces and also add it to the pan with pepper. Saute it until it is cooked.
When ready, add the 2 oz. of vodka. After 20 seconds add the heavy cream. Let it cook on low for about 2 minutes, mixing with a wooden spoon. When finished put the pan aside.
Now in a large pasta pan, boil the water (about 2 gallons). Fill the palm of your hand with salt and add it to the water. It should be about 2 and half teaspoons of salt.
When the water starts to a boil, add the farfalle. Use instructions for cooking time or taste until it is how you like it. But again, pasta should be not hard, not soft. It just needs to have a little bite to it, that is “AL DENTE”.
When the pasta is ready, use a colander to drain, put it back in the pan and add all the ingredients from the pan that you put aside, mix it and be ready to serve and eat.
