2009 Kentucky Football Schedule

I know from the fans up in Lexington that they are expecting to make a move this year and beat some of the teams that have caused them problems over the years. With a hard 2009 Kentucky football schedule that may not be the case. We will talk about it later on but let’s take a look at that 2009 Kentucky football schedule.

September 5th Miami (OH)

September 19th Louisville

September 26th Florida

October 3rd Alabama

October 10th at South Carolina

October 17th at Auburn

October 24th Louisiana-Monroe

October 31st Miss State

November 7th Eastern Kentucky

November 14th at Vanderbilt

November 21st Georgia

November 28th Tennessee

The good news is that after checking out that 2009 Kentucky football schedule the non-conference games don’t seem to be much of a challenge. Obviously that matchup with Louisville could go either way but I think the Wildcats will win that one fairly easy. The bad news is that the games against Florida and Alabama will most likely be losses regardless of how well they have played them here recently.

Something else that is working against the Wildcats on the 2009 Kentucky football schedule is that they play Georgia and Tennessee at the very end of the year. Both teams have offenses and specifically quarterback issues that are a work in progress. If they played at the beginning of the year an upset would be much more likely but at the end of the year those times will likely be hitting on all cylinders. The games on the 2009 Kentucky football schedule against South Carolina, Auburn, Miss State and Vanderbilt will decide whether this team is bowl bound or has a losing record.
