Here today we take a look at the 2009 Ole Miss football schedule for the upcoming Rebels program. With the backing of a big time coach and NFL prospects like Jevan Snead the upcoming season looks to be one of the best ever for the school. Enough talk let’s take a look at the 2009 Ole Miss football schedule listed below.

September 6th at Memphis

September 19th Southeastern Louisiana

September 24th at South Carolina

October 3rd at Vanderbilt

October 10th Alabama

October 17th UAB

October 24th Arkansas

October 31st at Auburn

November 7th Northern Arizona

November 14th Tennessee

November 21st LSU

November 28th at Miss State

I can tell you right now after looking at the 2009 Ole Miss football schedule that barring injuries this team is gonna have a special season. For starters if you look at those games listed above the one thing that stands out to me is that they have one of the easiest non-conference schedules out of all the top ranked teams in the country. They have Memphis, Southeastern Louisiana, UAB and Northern Arizona all of which they should be expected to leave as the winner.

The other thing that will be huge for the 2009 Ole Miss football schedule is that they don’t have to play Florida or Georgia. But that doesn’t mean that they have a path straight to the SEC championship game because there are tough games on the schedule for the Rebels against Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Tennessee and LSU. Another thing to remember is that this is the SEC and football teams like Vanderbilt and Miss State are more than capable of pulling off the upset as well.
