Things You’ll Need:
- 2 egg whites
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 cup of semi sweet chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Line 2 cookie sheets with foil.
Beat egg whites with an electric mixer until white peaks form.
Add sugar, 1 teaspoon at a time.
Stir in vanilla and salt and beat mixture until whites are stiff and shiny.
Fold in chocolate chips
Drop mixture by teaspoons onto cookie sheet.
Turn off the oven and place cookies inside.
Leave them in oven for a few hours or overnight.
The cookies will be ready to eat when you open the oven.
Made with egg whites, no yolk.
I learned how to make these cookies when I was 10 years old so you know how easy they are to make. Now my grandchildren love them even though they are healthier than regular cookies made with the yolk.
My cholesterol is high and I love my sweets so I eat a few of these to satisfy my sweet tooth.
You can also leave the oven on when puting the cookies in but be sure to watch them because they can burn easy
