Alright so you want to stay healthy and fit, the first thing you must do is make this a priority. If you want to be healthy, you have to make healthy choices. Making a healthy choice encompasses many aspects from food all the way to your habits, what you do in your spare time. Sitting in front of the TV for hours on end is not a healthy choice, and if your feeling depressed it’s only going to get worse. You have to get up, get out, and get busy! Start to exercise on a daily basis. You do not need to be an Olympian all you have to do is start small, start making healthy choices even with simple decisions like talking a walk.

Once you have established a routine of making time to exercise, start implementing more into your agenda. It is important you get your heart rate up to a cardio workout. Everyone is different and walking for some at first is going to be enough, but over time your going to have to start running or walking faster on a treadmill. Exercise stimulates your mind and increases your metabolism.

And one of the key areas to staying healthy and fit is to make wise choices when you eat. You have heard the saying, “you are what you eat…” that saying is true. If your choosing heavy, greasy, starchy food all the time your going to feel totally gross. Your body is a living organism that needs living things. Try to start eating more fruit and vegetables, they are rich in nutrients your body needs to survive and be healthy.
