Alright OU fans here today we are gonna discuss the 2009 Oklahoma football schedule. How many games can you pretty much put in the bag and which ones are possible losses? The competition in the Big 12 can be brutal and this year is seemingly just as tough as ever for the Sooners. Well enough of the talking let’s take a look at the 2009 Oklahoma football schedule and then get to the breakdown.

September 5th BYU

September 12th Idaho State

September 19th Tulsa

October 3rd at Miami

October 10th Baylor

October 17th Texas

October 24th at Kansas

October 31st Kansas State

November 7th at Nebraska

November 14th Texas A&M

November 21st at Texas Tech

November 28th Oklahoma State

So as you can see the 2009 Oklahoma football schedule is full of potential bumps in the road for the Sooners. But this team still has plenty of talent left over from last season when they made an appearance in the National Championship. The good thing is that they have some good opponents leading up the game against Texas but not any that are very likely to defeat them in the process. I have a gut feeling that the Red River shootout will decide who wins the Big 12 and plays for the National Championship.

So which games should be considered wins and losses on this 2009 Oklahoma football schedule? In my opinion the only games that are likely to be potential losses would be Texas and Oklahoma State. I’m sure some people will scoff at that statement but this Sooners team just has too much talent to lose to a majority of the teams on their 2009 football schedule.
